Detail of Orissa Police Constables Recruitment:

1. Applications are invited from the eligible and intending candidates to fill up of 1370 post of Constables in Odisha Industrial Security Force(OISF) newly created by the Government of Odisha in prescribed form.The selection of Constables in Odisha Industrial Security Force(OISF) will be made by the State Selection Board, Odisha Police, Cuttack since the Constables in OISF is State Cadre. The application should reach to the concerned Supdt. of Police of the Districts on or before 04.01.2016. Applications received incomplete or after due date will not be entertained.
2. Total : 1370
3. Age limit. The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years or more than 23 years as on 01.01.2015 (upper age is relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC, ST & Women candidates). The age limit for Ex-Servicemen shall be relaxed as per Govt. Rule. Similarly, the age of the Home Guards candidates should not be more than 28 years as on 01.01.2015. The candidates will have to avail only one benefit as indicated above.
4. Qualification. Candidate must have passed High School Certificate examinations or equivalent examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or by any other recognised Board / Council. A candidate should be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed Odia as one of the subjects in the High School Certificate Examination or an examination in Odia Language equivalent to M.E standard recognised or conducted by the School and Mass Education Department of Government of Odisha.
5. Other qualification. (i) A candidate must be of good character. (ii) If married, the candidate must not have more than one spouse living. (iii) A candidate must be of sound health and must be free from organic defect and physical deformity. (iv) A Home Guard candidate must have completed 3 years of enrolment without any interruption on the date on which the advertisement for recruitment is published and must have undergone the basic course of training for Home Guards.

How to apply for Constables Vacancy in Orissa Police :

1. How to apply: (i) Irrespective of the category, the candidates intending to apply for the post of Constable in Odisha Industrial Security Force(OISF) shall pay Rs.35/- (thirty five) only in shape of Bank Draft / Postal Order towards cost of application forms in the concerned District. Apart from this, the application form will be downloaded 13 in the website of Odisha Police www.odishapolice.gov.in. and Odisha Govt. portal i.e. www.odisha.gov.in .The candidates who have downloaded the application forms from the website shall also pay Rs.35/- in shape of Bank Draft / Postal Order with the application form. The Bank Draft / Postal Order will be in favour of concerned Supdt. of Police of the Dist. The application forms purchased from concerned Dist. Police or down loaded from the Odisha Police or Odisha Government website shall only be accepted. The application form along with Bank Draft / Postal Order and Photo copies of self attested certificates should be sent to the concerned Supdt. of Police (T) Post or by hand of the concerned District. The last date for submission of application is 04.01.2016. Applications received after due date shall not be entertained.
2. Warning regarding impersonation, submission of false documents and giving or receiving bribe. It will be the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they submit correct information and bonafide documents with the application forms. If it is found that a candidate has submitted wrong information or fake / forged documents, or has indulged in impersonation at any stage of the recruitment process, his candidature will be summarily cancelled and the aforesaid candidates will be liable for criminal prosecution for such acts. 19. If any candidate uses or attempts to use unfair means during the recruitment process to secure appointment, then strict action as per law will be taken against him and he / she shall be debarred from the test. If any other person obtains bribe or illegal gratification in any other form from the candidates by making a promise to secure appointment, then such person as well as the concerned candidate will be liable to face criminal prosecution and arrest for the offence.
