  1. Educational qualification: H.S. or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council. In case of candidates applying for the post of Firemen and Emergency Rescuer in Fire & Emergency Services, he / she should have passed H.S. or Class XII in Science Stream.   6. Medical Standards: Candidates must not have knocked knee, flat foot or squint in eyes, and they should possess high colour vision. Varicose vein shall be considered a temporary disqualification. They must be in good mental and bodily health. They must be free from any physical deformities and free from diseases such as diabetes, hernia, piles, respiratory diseases or any other ailment that is likely to
    interfere with the efficient performance of duties. The distant vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for the other without correction. Near vision should be normal.

    Selection Procedure For Assam Police – Constable Post:

Detail of Orissa Police Constables Recruitment:

  1. Applications are invited from the eligible and intending candidates to fill up of 1370 post of Constables in Odisha Industrial Security Force(OISF) newly created by the Government of Odisha in prescribed form.The selection of Constables in Odisha Industrial Security Force(OISF) will be made by the State Selection Board, Odisha Police, Cuttack since the Constables in OISF is State Cadre. The application should reach to the concerned Supdt. of Police of the Districts on or before 04.01.2016. Applications received incomplete or after due date will not be entertained.

  3. Age limit. The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years or more than 23 years as on 01.01.2015 (upper age is relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC, ST & Women candidates). The age limit for Ex-Servicemen shall be relaxed as per Govt. Rule. Similarly, the age of the Home Guards candidates should not be more than 28 years as on 01.01.2015. The candidates will have to avail only one benefit as indicated above.
  4. Qualification. Candidate must have passed High School Certificate examinations or equivalent examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or by any other recognised Board / Council.
